As someone who has a hard time finding the right books to read, this was definitely a gem for me. I loved the way the plot progressed, how they used the ending ( or at least the conflict at the ending) to introduce the story because it can cause the readers to start being engrossed into the book. Along with that, the plot and plot twists have really got me jumping in my seat in excitement every time I turn the page over. In a way, I think this book was very philosophical because from the perspective of the main character, it really tackles the question of "what it means to be human" As the main character finds out that some humans are cruel, horrific beings. This story was thrilling, exciting, and clever, and I cant recommend this enough. To top it off, this story is a futuristic fantasy themed story that has a good amount of romance to compliment it. 10/10 recommend!!
