A Note From The No Fire Zone is a novel talking about the Tamil genocide. This novel is written by an award-winning author Kass Ghayouri. This novel is amazing and talks about serious human rights issues. Kass Ghayouri's diction is amazing and her writing style keeps the reader interested in what they are reading. I have read this brilliant novel and I am studying this novel in my university-level English class. My parents and relatives have all told me tragic stories of what had happened in Sri Lanka but it is this particular novel is what got me interested in this topic. This novel has become a very important part in literature because it is written by a professional award-winning author Kass Ghayouri. Her diction is exceptional because her use of literary devices keeps the reader intrigued. The poems found in the book are all amazing and is something that I don't see often in novels. The cover is amazing and I feel like the camouflage appeals to teenagers as they would think that the novel is more interesting. the cover goes with the theme of genocide if I picked this book up form a bookshelf I would be attracted to the camouflage cover and be interested in reading this book. Also, the cover keeps me in suspense because it does not give away the story. In addition, it is appropriate for a novel which is all about the elements of a story. Congratulations to an award-winning celebrity author Kass Ghayouri. I would definitely recommend this novel.
