This has to be the worst book in the world for learning advanced mathematics. This book is all about showing how the author knows shortcuts to subject material that the typical student is just now learning. If you are self studying differential equations, linear algebra, or any other mathematics used in science and engineering then AVOID this book at all costs. It will just leave you scratching your head and wondering why you can follow what the author writes. I write this already having a degree in physics and having learned this material years ago. I picked up the book because it looked like a good refresher.... WRONG
