Warning! Semi-Spoilers ahead. I was thrilled to find the sequel to such an epic movie like Train to Busan. My excitement stalled within ten minutes. I checked out completely during the final act. The children were cast perfectly, especially the youngest daughter. She made me laugh out loud. The other characters were unsurprising. I couldn't understand why the bad guys were after the protagonists because there was no time in the film to develop the characters. It was basically: 1) bad guys do bad guy things 2) good guys, be lucky. There was no heart in this film, let alone a direction.
