Awful, transphobic rubbish. One would wonder why a woman with so much money would be so hell bent on using her position to punch down in such a disgraceful manner. I enjoyed the previous Strike novels for what they were, entertaining but hardly ground breaking pulp crime. This one, where she allows her personal prejudices full reign is not only objectionable but also unnecessarily long winded and tedious. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
