Let me start by saying, I am a huge fan of westerns, and Costner usually doesn't disappoint. Usually...he did this time! Way too slow, disjointed. Should be a 4 part mini-series on a streaming platform. Finally, at the end of the loooong mess, he started to tie the different events together (somewhat) and set up for part 2. I will say, this is a 1 time watch. Also, since I am vested now, I will go see part 2, albeit reluctantly. About 2 hours in, I got a call from the PD that someone had hit my truck in the parking lot and the officer was on scene and needed me. I went out for 35 mins. When I came back in, I asked my daughter what I had missed, she replied absolutely nothing. I picked right back up where I had left.

As an avid mc rider, I had to see this movie. Honestly, I wasnt a big fan of Comer narrating the thing. There are some great characters that I wanted to know more about. Hardy was good as Johnny, the leader/founder. But the voice he used...nah, took mealy-mouthed. Benny, the focus of the story failed to sell himself as a biker. He came off as too Hollywood. Zipco was fantastic, which he usually is. All well written characters. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't sit thru it again.

I liked it. Nicholas Cage was superb. These characters can be found in rural Texas every day. Cold hard life.
