Whomever made this movie knows kids today. As a teacher, this hit home. The Buddy Bench is a re thing, FYI. So is social isolation, competitiveness in games and “likes” on social media and extreme loneliness in kids. My 10-year-old son and I had a good discussion afterward about the importance of human friends. Great premise. Funny. Sweet. Go watch it if you have intermediate or elementary aged kids. Heck, drag your teen to it. It just might be a starting point.
