Randy Fishfader

Ron Miner is a beautiful and elegant story-teller. In his other profession he is a garden designer and he writes a book like he creates a garden--layered and complex and pleasing to those who enter into it.  I found The "Last Word" powerful, moving and compelling.  Miner's knowledge of the "Greatest Generation" is intimate and insightful and this book is an impressive achievement. I was drawn to the story and enjoyed reading it. I would highly recommend it.
