Fans of the series, longtime fans that is, will be disappointed in more aspects than they're happy in. The campaign is boring, it's understandable to try new things, but the old saying is true "If it's not broken don't fix it". The storytelling starts off fantastic, but quickly turns into a lot of 'run here and do this errand' quests in what's supposed to be a shooter. As of now there is no offline horde or escape even, given horde is one of the biggest modes in the GoW franchise it comes as a surprise that there's no offline option. Hopefully things will get better after the release date for everybody, but right now it's not looking too good.
