A book written with great insight on this delicate issue. I had already adopted my two boys by the time I found and read it. But it answered many questions I had. Having grown up overseas I did not and don't, feel at home here in the US. For the same reason I adopted from overseas also and now have an international family including grandchildren. There is no one way to make or blend a family but because of the loose laws on adoption, I/We went overseas and this is why the book spoke to me and probably helped me deal with related incidents. My boys are men in their 30s, They were infants when we adopted but I don't think they were any more difficult than any other children. I am very proud of them, and love them more than my life, unconditionally.
