Amazing take on a brilliant series of novels and games. As for the novels, I want to read them even more now, as all the lore I know I've picked up from playing the games and reading every little tidbit in them. With that in mind, trust me when I say this show delivers the flavor and feel of the Witcher series flawlessly. Henry Cavell brilliantly portrays Geralt, going so far as to sound just like Doug Cockle (who voices Geralt for the games). The other members of the cast also flawlessly portray their respective characters. Trust me on this...the first season is just the beginning of an absolutely amazing tale! It will just get better from here! (A note to Game of Thrones fans. This is not Game of Thrones. It is an entirely different type of story. It would be like comparing apples to oranges.)
