The FNAF movie was pretty good. As a filmmaker and director I would say for the budget it had and what it did with the story was well worth the wait. The animatronics looking exactly how they look in the games was nothing short of impressive. The amount of respect towards the source material as well as to the fanbase was truly admirable. The backstory was a little convoluted and overcomplicated as it should be for FNAF, however the way they showed it in the movie made it a little easier to understand. Still, some missing pieces Scott Cawthon is keeping to himself. It wasn't a masterpiece or something that would win awards but for what it was, it was unique, fun, a little scary, and overall entertaining. If you are a FNAF fan you will love this movie!!! If you are not and looking for something scary to watch this Halloween you might want to try something else. However, I will not lie, the movie works more as a dark comedy/thriller then a horror movie. Overall as a FNAF fan I give it a 10/10, as a critic I give it an 8/10.
