I have been a Trekkie since day one, and was very excited at this approach. And the first 2 seasons were great, but this last season has my stomach just churning. Even last season, Star Trek Discovery is more about “all our feelings” talking them out, patting everyone on the back, everyone gets a ribbon and so on and so on, and in the end we all hug it out and cry. While I have always loved the diversity and inclusion of Star Trek, this has gone too far to the other side of things. The Science Fiction has been completely buried and gets skimmed over when it does arise. It’s truly too bad CBS has lost its way in this series.
