I don't know why there's so much hatred about this movie. Seems like almost every movie lover thinks it's their holy duty to beat up this movie. It features everything a decent movie like this should. It has a badass monster, quality plot, nice cast who act well... most of them are good. Godzilla here is a reptile which adds to realism of the movie. It is dark, noir, has some humor, the characters have clear motivation and so on and on. It's not overextended, and by the end of the movie they unfold another trump which was hidden up their sleeve for a while (I mean Godzilla babies). There could be said so much more. But If you haven't watched yet it, you definitely should and if you have but didn't like it for some reason (most likely you fell victim to the hateful toxic reviews influence), you should give it another chance.
