Absorbing and tantalizing As a former teacher, I was second guessing what Ms. Novak could do. She actually was brilliant. The Rubic's Cube is a great metaphor.

It doesn't seem ambiguous to me. That is irrelevant to tension and denouement. All actors are exceptional.

Not rooted in authentic Catholic religious background it lacks context. E.g., Catholic nuns and priests wear crucifixes not crosses, do not wear rosaries like necklaces, carry Book of Hours or missals rather than bibles, do not wear brassieres, and so forth. Novices wear white veils but same habit as consecrated nuns. Aside from these quibbles, the blood and evil intent do scare and amplify tension.

Does not have the emotional appeal the theme promises.
