The Absolute Diary of A Part-Time Indian is a story of struggle. It gives the point of view of a teenage boy who tries to make his life better. My review of this book however is mixed. The pros I would say is that it is an emotional rollercoaster. I would have never guessed many unexpected events happen in the book. The cons of reading this book are that the point of view often can be a bit perverted at times. There were pages that talked about "urges" that made me uncomfortable.
Overall I found the book and its plot to be ok. I recommend it to someone wanting to learn about Native American reservations through someone else's eyes.
