I thought this movie was incredible. I marveled in the experience of it. It didn’t bother me at all that politics were not a part of the circumstances of the film, not even really discussed. It was not necessary. I appreciated the writer/directors restraint to have to explain events or political explications. It was a movie that gave you intense anxiety as you are a witness to war, even experiencing it, with no clear good side or bad side. Just a great film that makes you question as an audience member, what does war really bring out in us?
