I thought it was a good movie. I watched it with my 23 year old son who loves to scare me. Well, he promised me it wouldn’t have certain things I hate in the movie. He lied, then watched and waited for my reaction as he had already seen the movie. Little jerk, but I did like it overall. Some scenes really got me, though, and Charlie is so freaking weird looking and strange to begin with. That noise she makes would drive me crazy. Definitely worth a watch.

I am not a big fan of Jim Carrey. I think he is a bit of an overactor and some roles are not very funny. But he really knocked it out of the park in his performance in this movie, as did Kate Winslet. The pain of a breakup and having it wiped from your memory seems like a wonderful idea. But what if you love someone so much that it doesn’t work. Then imagine loving them so much you make a selfless decision for them. Beautiful tear jerker I saw years ago and still think about. Bravo!!
