They’re trying too hard to insert poignant social justice messages and not spending nearly enough energy on developing a coherent and engaging story line. I enjoyed the visual effects, good cast, but the writing was poor.

Very slow, a lot of nonsensical deaths that don’t add any value to the story line. It has a really cool concept and the main ideas behind the show are there, but it was pretty poorly executed early on and only gets marginally better. It’s worth watching, but mostly as a “I’ve already finished the other shows I was watching” option.
