Luke Argue

I do not understand how this movie got so many five-star reviews. The graphics were pretty, but that is pretty much all the movie had going for it. Dune is a ripoff of Avatar. If you want to go see a more interesting movie (with equally stunning visuals and a MUCH better storyline), then check out Avatar. But Dune… I don’t know… it is very overhyped. Story was confusing to say the least. Long and boring for the most part. Not even joking, I actually fell asleep during the first half for about ten minutes. I know everybody has their own opinions, but personally (and in agreement with my girlfriend and her mother) this movie was lacking. Again, it felt like an Avatar wannabe. This is my two cents.
