Ronald D Moore's re-imagining of the classic Glen Larson series from 1978 was in a word - Perfect. Many like Kyra "Starbuck" Thrace and Sharon "Boomer/Athena" Valerii completely changing sex from male characters to female Every one of Moore's characters had you cheering and (sometimes) hating them all within the same hour of an episode. It made you wonder right up until the full unveiling that any of the characters could be a Cylon?
