This is a love story that begins in the 20th century and ends in the 14th. I’m a sucker for happy endings. It’s also a tale of an unusual journey undertaken by time travelers (if only thst were possible). I think most people will enjoy it.

I love Seinfeld. Who doesn’t? So I was expecting a funny movie. He assembled an amazing cast. Never has so much talent been so poorly used. I only watched the whole film to see how it would end. Disappointed!

Suspenseful. But as the bodies pile up, also depressing. If you like justice served cold, you’ll like this. If you prefer happy endings, this isn’t for you.

I’m a big fan of magicians, so I looked forward to watching it. While I enjoyed some parts, my personal reaction was that there is too much violence and the rivalry between the magicians turns sadistic and ultimately deadly. The production values certainly are impressive and the acting is outstanding. But ultimately The Prestige has a dark heart.

Saw this film when it was released and thought it was fabulous. Decided to watch it again on this cold winter’s day. Best Hamlet on film ever.

In spite of its all-star cast, this was a dreary movie.

We watch this show whenever it's on. Years ago, I wrote about live magic shows that used to tour from city to city around the country. I actually got sawed in half once as part of a show! But...question: Why does the host Alison Hanigan always wear thr same boring blue dress? Do you film shows one right after the next? Surely Penn & Teller can afford to buy her different clothes. Weird!

This tv series is totally engrossing. Great performances by Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, Hugh Laurie and Tom Hollander. Set against the backdrop of the tumultuous “Arab Spring,” the series focuses on both Egypt’s and England’s involvement. Not a pretty picture. Traitors are revealed. Definitely worth watching. Le Carre has a brief cameo appearance.

Well we all know how her life ends. But what I didn’t expect was this very bleak beginning in the country of which she became Queen. Why do the French treat this young girl so dreadfully? Why is her future husband so distant and cold? I’ve only seen the first episode. Maybe it will become engrossing at some point. But I sure don’t like it so far.

The only reason to watch this movie is because Benedict Cumberbatch is the lead. Though in truth, as an American, I wondered why an American actor couldn’t have been cast as an American cowboy. I found the movie slow-moving and unless I missed some profound point, dull and - well - pointless. Only one opinion. Do not want to argue or debate. That’s how I found it.
