I think the way the movie was designed, it made perfect sense to leave certain family members out of focus, and not in the movie at all. When the head of a family passes away. (for example, my mom) the different parts drifted off a bit. The film being broken up into different scenes focused on different family members seemed appropriate to me, I was happy to see that the family did focus on past lives and situation’s and I certainly enjoyed the scenery of Greece since I was in Greece the summer they filmed this .
