Another disappointing example of a movie studio trying to fulfil every gender/racial/sexual criteria on the checklist to appease the complaints of a handful of privileged western women and their spineless, supine, invertebrate, white knight pursuers -.. all of whom wouldn't even watch the film anyways. All of this; done at the expense of making a film worth any respect as a piece of art, and at the expense of representing the demographics of those who have a vested interest in the Marvel Universe themselves. Still no clue why this was approved, still no clue why anybody is greenlighting these projects. I still laugh at the desperate, pearl clutching media stories claiming the films shoddy performance is a result of 'dwindling interest'. The acting was robotic and rigid, the story was bland and predictable with the major characters having invulnerable and sigh-inducing plot armor, the comedic attempts were obvious and overplayed. If you managed to not walk out, you found yourself with the fist of a thousand quasi-gendered LA marketing executives force-feeding you their political agenda. Wouldn't recommend, unless you need recommending to stay far, far away.
