Well,I watched this movie because I'm a Julia Roberts fan. If I could,it would get 1/2 a star. Maybe. Not only was the ending pathetic and frustrating,the unnecessary F bombs throughout were juvenile. It was also a plug for the overrated TV show Friends. It held me throughout in a suspenseful manner,but didn't really deliver. Honestly, nothing made sense,although you wait til the end for solid answers. Didn't happen. Mahershala Ali was dignified and the best part of the movie. He brought class to the film. Kevin Bacon,as always,delivers a very good performance also. A waste of 2+ hours. I'm surprised and disappointed that Julia Roberts would agree to this mess. Do not waste your time on this one. Total garbage. .

Well written,well acted,a fine piece of work. Although now I want to reach into homes with an abusive husband and beat the he** out of them. Primal mom love,gets me where I live.

It had SO much potential, but the ending left one annoyed and frustrated. The acting was well done,and the storyline held me through the end,although I'm surprised the actors accepted such a script with a lame ending.
