Now eventually you do plan to have aliens in your alien show…. Right? This adaptation does plenty of things right. The set up is great and performances are largely on point. However it is let down by the very obvious lack of budget which switches highly anticipated reveal scenes with low cost alternatives and let downs. Characters draw their information out in a way that is fast becoming a go-to for extending seasons and episodes. Reminiscent of shows like “Lost”, the pay off hardly ever worth it and would benefit from giving the audience some credit from time to time. Overall this is a bit of a disappointment and I hope the content one day gets a budget the story deserves.
