“SHAZAM!” is a breath of fresh air amidst the growing trend of overinjecting reality into superhero movies. Superheroes are fantasy characters that don’t have to play by the rules of our perception of reality so it would only make sense to let the imaginative spirit that created these characters be free and unrestrained. The Shazam character and storylines have always been a tad bit aloof and offbeat with the new movie being a perfect big-screen/live-action adaption, recapturing the wonder and awe of growing up through both the storyline (which pays tremendous homage to the comics) and eye-catching visuals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
