The author has some serious psychological issues for romanticizing a stalker who's also annoying and overbearing. But on the bright side, the book highlighted the events of dark world of human trafficking. People should be aware of its commonality.
And one more interesting thing author so brilliantly brought to reader's attention that how some women who have unresolved childhood trauma or daddy issues tend to find life threatening men attractive and find pleasure in completely submitting to them. Throughout the book, I was pissed at Zade for being so forceful and cringed alongside Adeline that how I'm also finding the man so exciting when such behavior should be the biggest turn off.
I do hope women out there (including me) recover from unhealthy emotional patterns of attachment and find bliss in healthy, respectful, and comforting relationships.
