A great western series with unusual plots, a great cast, such a pity that James Garner didn't feature more often due to contract problems....although he had the last laugh when the series was revived in the 80s as Bret Maverick.

Old fashioned, but good -hearted western from the 1950s & 60s, with some color episodes in season 6

The continuity between series is poor e.g. at the end of series 2 the family are packed up and on their way to Oregon, but when series 3 starts they settled in a homestead supposedly not far from where they were in that last season, and no explanation is given. Other than that I enjoyed the whole 3 seasons . Now that Westerns are coming back in favour in 2022 perhaps we'll get more great entertainment like this. We already have had 1883, with more episodes promised, and the Epix series of Billy the Kid..so keep 'em coming you TV execs!!

Brilliant slow burning drama, with great acying talent on display

Yes it's ab Aussie show but a notch above the usual soapy dramas & a grim look into the not too distant future & the problems the world will face.
