After watching 9 films and 2 anthologies, I am not so satisfied with this so called “The End”. It’s not bad, but it’s not so satisfying somehow. Traced the whole plot back to 1977 when my parents were still teenagers, and the conclusion is still, the classic ones were still better than this one. I feel like the Skywalkers are not so appreciated here, neither all of the iconic scenes of the timeless, classic episodes... I don't even think "The Rise of Skywalkers" is an appropriate title for Episode IX. RECOMMENDED? OF COURSE it is, because it provides us some closing of this whole saga, some parts of it are also surprising.. but just don’t expect much prior to watching it. It's a solid 3.
