I just watched the 2020 season. I'm afraid I wasn't a Laura fan, but obviously the judges were. They put her through on flavor alone even when her bakes were consistently dreadfully sloppy. Other bakers with great flavors but messy bakes were sent home. That said, I wasn't there, and perhaps her bakes were better when others went home. But I'm glad Paul called her out on her messy bench. Congrats to the winner. (No spoiler!) I was rooting for him from the beginning.
