Excellent sequel to The Shining. Loved it. The character development, the story, the suspense....the entire film was outstanding. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was!

It took a little while to ramp up and give us the back story of Vers, aka Carol Danvers, as her memories were awakened and things were made clearer. When she met Nick Fury on Earth, the fun ensued. Add in a very essential "cat" and the rest of the cast, and this film literally took off in a direction that will lead directly to the next Avengers movie. By the second half of the movie, we get to see her reveal her full power and it is impressive. All in all , it was very entertaining and gave us a peek back into the 90's with songs by Nirvana, Hole and No Doubt just to name a few...it was a well directed movie and held my attention all the way. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 stars, if i had stars laying around. Great addition to the Marvel film universe!

This movie was sub-mediocre from beginning to end. If I was watching in a theater, I would have walked out. The story was lame. The characters were weak, the CGI was elementary and the 80's gimmick was all it had going for it. I like all these actors but this movie was atrocious all around. It left me scratching my head and felt like a few steps backwards in filmmaking progress. DC will never catch Marvel if this is what they keep producing. I was really expecting more, but I guess I should have lowered my expectations.
