The books are so wonderful! In trying to squeeze an entire book into two episodes, they have lost the character of the books. There is very little character development other than the main characters. The stories of the village itself are missing. There is only the mystery itself, and many parts of that are missing too. So sad, because with more care and time these could have been great. If there is another season I hope they will pay more attention to the characters Ms Penny has so delightfully written about.
