So I've only put 4 hours into the game im just now at the first gym. I have alot to say about this game both good and bad so here goes. 1. The trainer battles I wish gamefreak had increased their pokemon's level I feel really underwhelmed going against a trained pokemon that is 3-4 level LOWER than my average wild mon. 2. The map is huge and great no its not fallout 4 or skyrim huge but compared to previous generations it feels so nice to have some distance between large cities than just a 1 minute walk while beating on smaller trainers. 3. In terms of pure difficulty the wild mechanics are superb no more grinding on the same mobs for ever to level now there is huge variation in wild levels like when my level 12 meowth got curb stomped by a level 32 pangoro. 4. The story is not hand hold linear after the past few generations I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much, I was very surprised and still am at how much freedom you retain while following a story and yet you're continually rewarded for exploration as compared to the general bleakness of x and y as well as the dumpster fires that was sun and moon the ultras included.

So for any that didn't know this is not something new it's actually a show that was supposed to have used a story from a web comic. Tsk tsk sadly they RUINED it, they completely removed large parts of the story and just added in hot actors to push some sensuality into a series that didn't need it, if you didn't know about it read the webtoon in sure you'll love it but if you have prior knowledge about what it's SUPPOSED to be the entire thing falls flat and I hope the writers and directors choke for it.
