This movie is VERY culturally offensive. Massive western savior vibes. They just mashed a bunch of Oceanic cultures together and decided to call it a day. Also the premise isn’t realistic. No senator in their right mind would try to shut down a base for humanitarian efforts. It’s really bizarre. Besides that it’s your typical cheesy Christmas movie.
