I have been a follower and reader of Peter Robinson books from the start. I have been to meet and greets in the years before the Inspector Banks became famous on television. Robinson is an amazing detailed descriptive author who brings situations so much to life and grips you with a plot that twists and turns along the way.
Aftermath is one of his best after Caedmons song, a stand alone which later entwines with the Banks series.
Robinson uses local news, national concerns and his personal insight to get to the heart of every crime but also the heart of his victims and killers.
Following on from the Fred and Rosemary west crimes, this is a hard hitting book and story. Tragic in so many ways
