A cold, restrained, eerie and authentic depiction of post WW2 Britain, rife with all the human psychological trauma and detail missing in many of it's Hollywood counterparts. What it lacks in horror gut punches, it makes up for in mood and ambiguity, keeping you guessing right to the end - a slow brewer. Gleeson is excellent.
