This is the scariest film I've ever seen. The opening scene where Professor Harrington is driving back from Julian Karswell's property creates such an eerie, atmospheric, nightmarish scenario with the moonlight shining through the Cedars. (if my memory serves me right) Although the beast is revealed early on it doesn't detract from the sinister theme that continues throughout this masterpiece. It may be an old black and white film but in my opinion it beats anything made today. Watch in the dark if you dare! Good luck, don't say I didn't warn you. 👹
