If you are a fan of either the books or the games you should love this series. And if you're a fantasy fan in general and haven't read the books or played the games you should still enjoy it. But since it's adapted from the books, some things are different to fit the epic adventure to its new medium of the small screen, mainly the introduction of the three main characters through interweaving flashbacks.This might be a bit confusing at first if you're new to The Witcher but shouldn't be a problem if you've read the books or played the games. Don't let that stop you though---it's very well done and season two can't come soon enough for me.
