As a Holly Gibney fan, she is one my favorite dysfunctional characters to follow along with the Robinson family. I was hoping in this book that Holly would be matching wits and battling shapeshifting, supernatural antagonists, which King has previously delivered on. The charcters and their stories were less developed than in other King books. I enjoyed the plot... who wouldn't? Two nutty cannibalistic, geriatic professors that lure, trap and consume staff and students in an effort to treat their ailments. The novel could have been condensed into a short story as it became drawn out and monatnus in places and was full of unnecessary prolongued references to political and pandemic fluff.
