I was sick when I realized the show was canceled. I was in an online discussion group where the actors and directors participated. From what was said by Carnivale writers, producers and actors, the show cost more than HBO wanted to spend and renew. Carnivale had a niche audience and viewing numbers weren’t high enough! I was not surprised, but disappointed the show was only 2 seasons. It was obvious when everything came to an end so quickly. Writers planned 5 seasons. What an awful ending.

I loved, loved, love this movie! Scary, scary, scary! Wish it followed the book, but it did tie both movies together.
