The movie was boring despite the scary aliens and excellent CGI. The story was overly simplistic and there was very little character development. It felt like a filler rather than a fully developed movie. Very disappointing!

Oh dear where do I start? The movie was very, very slow and it really would have benefited from a shot of caffeine. I nearly fell asleep twice. There are huge holes in the plot: the young girl wanders around NYC on her own, her grandmother provides no care giving whatsoever and there is a lack of any real back story so you eventually don't really care about anyone in the movie. It's also not funny... Not funny at all. Even the normally wonderfully talented Ryan Reynolds can't save it. This should have gone straight to TV.

The story is weak and the acting is dismall. It was so bad that we couldn't sit in the cinema and watch any more so we left. I'd rather go to the dentist!!!
