Not a patch on the original. The original family were so distraught when Carol Anne disappeared into thin air, but was talking through the TV. The remake family acted as if it was a minor inconvenience. Like a leaking tap! And the people they called in might as well have been plumbers! The fear in the original team. The new team just “another day on the job” kinda bored attitude. Honestly this was so poorly executed and acted. Watch the original after this - the magic of stephen spielberg in the original, you’ll love it!

Hilarious! As a big fan of the conjuring movies, anabelle and sinister, could not stop laughing! You probably need to have watched those films to find it funny and understand it better. I couldn’t stop laughing!

I honestly don’t know why people don’t like this film, it’s so underrated! Maybe it’s not woke enough! But this was made back before Hollywood ran out of ideas and just started remaking all the old 80s movies! It’s made back when the writers actually cared about making an interesting story instead of just trying to shove politics down your throat! If you want to watch politics, go watch the Prime minister’s question time - I guarantee you’re in for a very boring ride if that’s what you’re in to! This was made in the decade when DC was really good (V for Vendetta, The Dark Knight, etc) this is a great addition to the DC comics from that ERA, when it was dark and the stories were great! I actually love this movie, it’s a fantastic film, go watch it!

Incredibly slow and way too much religion for my liking. I personally can't stand religion, and this was far too prechy! Story took about half the series to actually get into the story! Painfully slow!

Watched for the first time and I honestly don't know why I've never heard of this! What a fantastic movie with a great soundtrack! So well written with a very complex, interesting and likeable main antagonist! Some of the best films have interesting makn antagonists - The Joker, Captain Barbosa, Hannibal Lector to name a few! The main antagonist in this film is so interesting and likeable. The lead character is also so relatable. The fact I've not even heard of the film when it's 20 years old, really goes to show how underrated it is. Really should have a bigger fan base. Working our way through Disney plus to see the stuff we missed when we were kids and I've been really pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this.

Liked the gameplay and graphics. Story started out great with a good old fashioned revenge plot. Story turned out to be really disappointing however. Just felt like it destroyed two of playstation's most iconic and beloved characters in order to replace them with 2 others. One of which you're hunting for revenge. Instead of father figure helping stray daughter figure, they went for mother figure helping stray son figure. When I say destroy, I mean REALLY destroy the both of them physically and emotionally until there's nothing left of them. I could have gotten on board with these new characters if they were introduced in the same kind of way way Henry and Sam were. Two fellow travellers just trying to survive in an apocalypse. Even if they were taking over as the new faces of the series. But to make us hate one of them at the beginning and then try so hard to change our minds, just felt forced. As I say, good gameplay but story for me was a disappointment. I know you buy games mostly for the fun and gameplay. But these games are heavily story based and I bought it to continue Joel and Ellie's story.

I grew up in the 90s playing resident evil and silent hill on the playstation and dead space on the xbox 360. I love survival horror games. But I believe I can confidently say, that Outlast is the most terrifying game I've ever played. It's not just the story, it's the gameplay, the atmosphere, the sound effects and the music that is absolutely terrifying. Then the story adds to it and just messes with your mind. No weapons, it's all about stealth, but not too much surprisingly. It's pitch black dark unless you have batteries in your cam corder to keep the green night vision on. Then they can't see you and you can hide fairly well. But when they do find you, you're chased through rooms of the asylum, trying desperately and helplessly to find a place to hide, your character is breathing heavy and you can feel the terror that he is feeling! An incredibly atmospheric game! The story chase bits are really cool as well when you're running for your life! My new all time favourite horror game, can't wait to play the DLC and the second one!
