Overall is a good series. Elif’s sister Nulifer was so annoying during all the series, always crying and committing mistake after mistake. Pelin was the kind of friend I don’t want, in crucial moments she always gave work the priority letting friends down or complicating their circumstances. Tayyar had more lives than a cat. He was stabbed, shot several times, had two transplants and his recovery was incredibly fast with no sequels 🤦🏽♂️. They were a lot of opportunities to kill him, which neither Fatih, Omar, Huseyin nor his men took advantage of. They were a lot of unrealistic or goofy scenes. For example, Fatih and his men always used burner SIM cards or phones, but in last episodes Fatih’s and his men had a fix number, forgot to have an untraceable phone, so Tayyar easily could intercepted their calls, what a joke, an insult to viewers intelligence. Tayyar ‘s death did not make justice in comparison to all the crimes he committed, I was expecting more suffering for him. The last episodes after Tayyar death were so unnecessary, like kind of forced by the writer to extend the series. Elif made everything about her desires without considering Omar. She even let down Pelin and Arda on their wedding. Basically she imposed to Omar to leave his vocation by quitting being a police and have the lifestyle she decided for them. During all the series she was portrayed as brave, open mind, modern, but on those last episodes her character was turned into a selfish, impulsive and dictatorial character. This being a fail in my perspective. I always thought she was going to become a police too. Another thing I disliked is that they moved far from their family. I thought there was going to be a scene of all of them happy together, Omar and Elif with kids. The ending was bland, but this is something very typical in Turkish series. Turkish series are good, but their final episodes tend to lack emotion and loose intensity, many times things are resolve so fast without good/captivating scenes and/or a lot of things are left inconclusive.
