If you’re looking for a mindless series of nothing but battle scenes and cliched dialogue this movie isn’t for you. It's a much deeper film than that with proper character development while reveling in th nostalgia of the age that brought the Transformers to the public. It’s a more developed movie. Does it have flaws, of course it does. The antagonists are not well fleshed out and feel a little generic. But these complaints are minor, it’s a fun touching movie, with a decent mix of humour and emotion.
