Griping period piece of battles between teamsters, the government and organized crime that weaves in the rise and fall of James R Hoffa. I read the book, “I heard you paint houses” and was very impressed with how The Irishman was able to capture this very compelling story. I highly recommend watching this film.

Well paced and a perfect example of Clint Eastwood’s ability to send a message that provokes thought. There is criticism of the female reporter’s means to the story leak and some may use this as a way to dismiss this film. The fact of the matter is the Atlanta paper ran with the story based on a false lead and this man went thru hell to clear his name. It’s a movie with some artistic license. Chill people.
