Terrell Gamble

If I can give this a half a star or 1/16 of a star I would have. This movie was an absolute letdown. I figured with time and CGI advances, that this current reboot would redeem the franchise from its prior train wrecks of movies. However, this movie played like 1990’s made for TV movie. The acting was horrible, plot bad, writing lowbrow, casting was shaky (should cast a bigger net in search for the right talent)....they should have used creative license to build a better plot and alternative Mortal Kombat universe as opposed to trying to stay 100% true to the game. They could Of even turned it into a high quality movie quality show to tell the stories of this vast world. Which ultimately would be highly anticipated every week. The post production was visibly rushed with a lot of mistakes you can see with the naked eye first glance. I mean cuts you would normally see on low budget films/tv. The one positive aspect about this film was that the graphics give some hope to a better film in the future with the right cast, the right direction and the write script to be a monster at the Box office when it actually fully opens to the public.
