OK so, I actively skipped watching this epic series due to my sincere grief at losing my complete addiction to Chef Bourdain and his edgy oft time abrasive foodie adventure features. To spite my sincere satisfation with my own life's path, I have decided I now, want to be Phil. Such a genuine ND epic foodie. " let me think of another word for delicious. Nope... can't do it , this is delicious." Phil is just a great solid everyman who loves life ND lives his life with joy and exuberance. From entry scenes to end credits, his genuine fun and genuine epic approach to his sharing his experiences simply captivates the viewers, inviting us to join him on his wonderful journey.. Phil, thank you for adding much needed joy to tired Ole foodies life.. mant blessings and thanks from costal bend Texas. 1

I have grown up around the Amish. My maternal ancestors from 1930 back were all suisse Amish who immigrated to America in 1734, sailing fro m a port in Rotterdam upon the cargo vessel Harle. To have thi s movie represent my history in the. Truth was both refreshing and deeply infuriating. The "english/" have always ridiculed the life choice. Most respect the Amish, but it's the few culturally biased who see themselves better or smarter than the Amish have always caused unnecessary pain to both cultures. Ron Perlmans portrayal of Jacob setter was excellent. Were worth watching this film it's one of my favorit.
