A good book overall. Biased. But the winners determine the story and the British did, quite remarkably, take a flourishing nation and strip its assets within 200 years. EIC went from a company whom the elite of India would not give an audience to, considering them unworthy, to becoming their rulers. 5 stars, I say my fellow!

This was a very informative book delving into the political history of Pakistan and is well written, the timeline from the conception of the Pakistan through to the modern day and time and its various challenges to survive as a functioning state gives the reader a sense of Pakistans vulnerability amongst the surrounding powers as well as the influence esp. of Usa in keeping the nation afloat. Recommended Highly.
