This movie should not have been made. It adds absolutely nothing to the overall story. Every plot point was cheap, unnecessary, and does not make sense. This film was just an excuse to show carnage and explosions (every car that is touched by an alien explodes). There is no reason to care about any of the characters except the indestructible cat.
